Struggle with the stairs? Struggle bending your knees?

Do you have stairs in your home? Do you struggle getting up and down them? Are they narrow or do you struggle bending your knees? Answered yes to most or all of these questions? Then a perched stairlift might be exactly what you need.

Perched Stairlift

Perched stairlifts allow people who either have narrow stairs or people that struggle bending their knees to get the help they need when ascending or descending their stairs. These stairlifts enable people who cannot, or find it uncomfortable to, bend their knees sufficiently to allow them to sit down on a normal straight stairlift to stand or perch on this stairlift so that they have as comfortable journey as possible up and down the stairs.

Perch stairlifts include many of the same features as the straight and curved stairlifts; however, they allow people to stand up to travel up and down the stairs. This may not sound like the safest way to travel but the perch stairlift has been designed with the users’ safety as the top priority. This means that features were included in the perch stairlift for example a seatbelt to ensure the user is securely fastened to the stairlift while it is in use.

The perched stairlift also has the same comfort and safety features as both straight and curved stairlifts, including wireless remote controls, rack and pinion drive, soft start and stop technology and whisper quiet operation. These features enable the perch stairlift to be both comfortable and functional in homes.

So don’t worry if you have problems bending your knees, or have narrow stairs, simply ask about perched stairlifts.

I didn’t know people supplied stairlifts that let you stand up. That’s really useful, especially as my knees are bad and I find it hard to sit down.
